These materials support primary and

secondary schools to meet the needs

of students from diverse backgrounds,

with a strong focus on literacy and

numeracy.

All departmental staff, pre-service

teachers and staff from other

educational institutions can access

the Centre’s library resources by

completing a membership form that

can be obtained from the Centre or

downloaded by clicking here.

Staff at the library are able to support

teachers and consultants in the

selection and use of resources.

The collection includes teaching and

professional learning materials that

support the Department of Education

and Training priorities

• literacy

• numeracy

• student engagement and retention

• Aboriginal Education and Training

• teacher quality

• connected learning

The library collection also includes:

• ESL New Arrival kits

• cultural artefacts kits

• reconciliation kits

• Accelerated Literacy class sets.
